Tickets are non-refundable. However, in the unlikely event that Toast Martinborough is cancelled, and the festival is not rescheduled, tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
Anyone showing signs of intoxication on arrival at the festival will be refused entry and no festival wristband given. If you show signs of intoxication during the festival, you will be asked to leave or be refused entry to any participating festival site. Look after your group, drink plenty of water and pace yourself.
On all participating festival sites, wine and food can be purchased using only Eftpos or Credit Cards in New Zealand Dollars. Toast Martinborough is a cashless event.
By attending Toast Martinborough, you grant Toast permission to use any photographs taken during the festival for marketing and promotional purposes. Your support helps us share the joy of Toast with a wider audience. Thank you for being part of our community!
Terms of entry
If you are asked to present ID at Toast Martinborough, legally acceptable forms of ID are:
Current Hospitality NZ 18+ Card
Current New Zealand Driver Licence
Current passport.
Under the Sale and Supply of Liquor Act 2012:
Intoxicated persons will be refused entry at all festival sites.
Intoxicated persons will not be served alcohol.
Spot checks of bags may be undertaken at the entry and exit points to all festival sites.
Unauthorised food and drink will be confiscated.
Alcohol cannot be taken in to or out of any festival site.
Alcohol is not permitted on buses.
Conditions of behaviour
Toast Martinborough is strictly an R18 event. If you are under the age of 18 years of age, you will not be granted access into the festival and any of the participating vineyard sites. If we are unsure of your age, you will be asked for identification and if you are unable to provide identification you will be refused entry.
Bags will be searched on entry to all sites. Any unauthorised food and drink will be confiscated, as well as:
Illicit Drugs or illegal substances.
Alcohol.
Fireworks.
Weapons.
Lasers.
Any forms of glass, including glass containers and/or drinking vessels.
BBQ’s or gas cookers of any description (this includes candles or naked flames).
Inappropriate drinking apparatuses, such as funnels or beer bongs.
Material to construct fires or weapons.
Other dangerous items.
Toast Martinborough will not tolerate any of the following:
Anti-social or threatening behaviour to other event attendees or staff.
Gang patches or gang paraphernalia will not be allowed into the event.
Misrepresentation as a member of staff or security or attempt to enter restricted areas.
Construction or attempts to do so of any form of fire, bonfire or naked flame.
Use of illicit drugs or illegal substances.
Participating in dangerous activities such as aggressive dancing, stage diving, crowd surfing or climbing may result in denial of entry, immediate ejection, or referral to New Zealand Police if deemed.

Tranzit Coachlines
Cancellations required before 3.00pm Friday 10 January 2025. Applies to bus transport cancellation only. Refunds cannot be given for packages (transport and event ticket purchased together).
Cancellation fee of $10.00 per person applies.
No alcohol or smoking is permitted on the bus.
Intoxicated persons will be refused entry onto the bus.
Toilets are not available on the bus, please make use of the facilities before boarding the bus as out of respect for the other passengers there are no toilet stops.
Consumption of hot food will not be permitted on board.
Tranzit cannot be held responsible for any ‘Passengers’ left behind at the end of the festival; this responsibility falls on the individual. Departure times are stated and need to be adhered too.
Tranzit cannot be held responsible for the theft of 'Passengers' personal property or personal property left behind on the vehicle.
The ‘Passenger’ will be responsible for meeting any costs of repairing damage to the vehicle or cleaning the vehicle as a result of the conduct and actions of the ‘Passenger’.
If travelling with friends, please note that you may not be on board the same bus. We will have multiple buses travelling to the festival with multiple pick ups. We suggest arriving together at your pickup location in plenty of time to board the same bus.
Terms apply to fare paying passengers only. Separate terms apply for charter customers/passengers.

Please do not leave valuables in the Camping area. Wairarapa Racing accepts no responsibility for any stolen or mis-laid items. Security guards will be onsite however please protect your belongings.
Any damages to the glamping tents and furnishings, will be charged to the Hirer. Glamping tents are strictly no smoking.
The Race Track and all other WRC Buildings are Out of Bounds.
The Health and Safety of all those staying, contracting or visiting the Wairarapa Racing Club is a top priority and of utmost importance.
Incidents and accidents can be prevented or minimised. In the event of any incident or accident this must be reported to Security or the WRC.
Every person on our site is responsible for Health and Safety.
Please be considerate of our onsite neighbours and keep noise at reasonable level.

Tickets are sold by ITICKET. The purchase of tickets is subject to the following conditions:
These terms apply to you, the purchaser, along with any ticket holder using a ticket purchased by you.
All claims and complaints are the sole responsibility of the Promoter.
You agree to any additional terms and conditions of purchase and entry that may be set by the Promoter and/or the Venue at for the event. Where a conflict exists between these terms and any additional Promoter and/or Venue terms, the Promoter and/or Venue terms will apply.
You agree to all New Zealand Government mandates around COVID-19 Vaccine Pass requirements for events, if any.
Unless otherwise required by law, tickets are non-refundable where any ticket holder fails to, or is unable to comply with New Zealand Government mandates.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in accordance with the applicable laws in the jurisdiction of purchase. If a refund is required by law, liability is limited to the full transaction amount you originally paid minus any booking, delivery or transaction fees. Any donations or contributions paid as part of a transaction are non-refundable.
Funds from transactions processed via iTICKET's credit card merchant account (or any other payment method where the funds are received by iTICKET), are held in trust until settlement with the Promoter, usually at the conclusion of the event. Transactions utilising iTICKET's credit card merchant account are clearly identified by the iTICKET logo next to the credit card form prior to confirming purchase.
Funds from transactions processed via a Promoter's own credit card merchant account go directly to the Promoter, and iTICKET is therefore not responsible for any refunds that may be required. These transactions are clearly identified by a Promoter logo and payment statement next to the credit card form prior to confirming purchase.
iTICKET reserves the right to charge a fee for the replacement of ALLOCATED (seated) tickets. iTICKET can not replace GENERAL ADMISSION tickets where seating is not allocated.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission with reasonable cause. Late arrivals may be prevented from admission.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission if valid identification for concession tickets is not provided.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission where tickets are lost or damaged, or tickets are not purchased through iTICKET or other authorised points of sale.
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, replace or substitute artists, or amend the programme, prices and/or seating arrangements.
Your personal information is held by iTICKET, the Promoter and/or the Venue whose event you are booking tickets to. It will not be sold or passed on to any other party unless you have given the express consent to do so by opting in to hear from them. If you have opted to receive news on upcoming events from iTICKET when creating your account with us, you will be sent regular iTICKET email newsletters and can opt out of these at any time. Reselling or distributing tickets purchased on our website without the express permission of iTICKET is prohibited.
If you wish to close your iTICKET account and have us delete any personal data stored against your purchase history, simply email our team on support@iticket.co.nz to make this request and we will do so, provided the erasure does not contravene any applicable laws. Standard Layby Terms & Conditions
The purchase of tickets on Layby is subject to the following conditions:
Every Layby requires payment in full by the specified due date.
Tickets remain the property of iTICKET and will not be issued until payment is received in full, including related fees.
iTICKET charges an initial Layby Setup Fee on each purchase in addition to a fee per instalment thereafter.
All deposits and related fees are non-refundable in all circumstances, as they are used to pay the costs associated with your purchase.
Default in your payments will result in your Layby being cancelled and iTICKET will refund all instalments paid, less the non-refundable deposit and related fees.
Cancellation of your Layby will result in refund of all instalments paid, less the non-refundable deposit and related fees. Refunds required by law are of the ticket price (or part of it paid by you) only and not related fees.
Tickets on Layby cannot be exchanged or refunded after the Layby has been finalised and tickets issued.
Refunds required by law are of the amount paid to date, and any applicable fees.
iTICKET's Layby Terms and Conditions of Sale apply in conjunction with the iTICKET Terms & Conditions above.
Acceptance of iTICKET's Layby Terms and Conditions of Sale is required to continue with any Layby purchase of tickets from iTICKET.
Laybuy™ Terms & Conditions
The purchase of tickets via Laybuy™ is subject to Laybuy™ terms and conditions in addition to the following iTICKET terms below:
Your order is processed and tickets received as soon as your first payment has been made and your payment schedule is established with only one sixth of the total order cost due up front. The remaining amount is split over 5 weekly automatic payments on the day of the original purchase.
Laybuy™ is available to any NZ resident over 18yrs with a current debit or credit card.
Laybuy™ is only available for online iTICKET bookings. It is not available from iTICKET Outlets or when booking via the iTICKET Customer Call centre.
iTICKET charges a 5% transaction/admin fee for all purchases booked via Laybuy™. This fee is included in the '6 x payment' price displayed during checkout.
Tickets on Laybuy™ cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Refunds required by law are of the amount paid to date, and any applicable fees.
Acceptance of iTICKET's Terms and Conditions of Sale is required to continue with any Laybuy™ purchase of tickets from iTICKET.
