A new era for Toast Martinborough!

New Zealand’s iconic wine and food festival, has been acquired by Foley Wines.

As we look to the future we have some exciting news…

We are pleased to announce that Toast Martinborough has been acquired by Foley Wines.

This comes at a time that, like many other businesses in events & hospitality, we have faced challenges exacerbated by Covid and unfavourable harvest conditions.

Foley Wines is a founding shareholder of Toast and you’ve likely enjoyed a wine at Te Kairanga, Martinborough Vineyard, or the Lighthouse Gin Garden Party over the years. Most recently they have opened The Runholder restaurant, tasting room and distillery on the edge of the Martinborough Terrace. Foley Wines is committed to maintaining the iconic 30 year history of the festival while ensuring it remains relevant for the future.

The decision has been made not to host a festival in 2024, although the initial view is that the festival may be better suited to February rather than November and a Saturday rather than a Sunday. Toast Martinborough thanks you for your continued support of the festival and looks forward to bringing you an even better Toast in 2025.
